shouldn't be to long now I walked across a large pond by my place this morning. Now if it would stay below 0 all day we would be in buisness

It has been below zero pretty much constantly for almost 2 weeks up here now and 2 weekends ago we were going to go open water fishing up north but the lake already had about an inch of ice on it, but we have had a fair bit of snow already and now it is supposed to warm up to 0 or higher this weekend and might even rain.  I was hoping to be trout fishing through the ice by mid-November but we'll have to see how it is after this weekend.
