Just a proposal should we do a FNCL points system? each crappie over so many inches =1 pt ext ext. than do a end of the year champ? maybe just for bragging rights or donated gifts? Just a suggestion to try and keep everyone interested....

IWAS THIINKING THE SAME THING CHAD>....but with all the action it will be hard to keep track....perhaps a system like...A one crappie (inches) per FNCL night.....total...inch es at the end of the season thing may work..If ya miss a night you will be in deep LOL

I agree that missing a week would screw a person up big time but if you think about it everyone is bound to miss at least one day.. I believe that things would get interesting come the end of the season.. Total in inches would work well or total in Lbs. we could have a leader board posted at scotts shanty... It would definatly keep things interesting.

i think the easiest way to keep track would be per fish. inches and pounds is gonna complicate calculating things on a weekly basis.if its per fish you can post a pic to make it easy enough to count . i think bragging rights is a great prize but i am concerned about the legality of it all. i am email ing the IF&W to see if we would be in violation. stay tuned!!

there are no length minimum and no bag limit on black crappie. i think one point awarded per fish and maybe a bonus point for a crappie over 14" we will keep a scoreboard in the crappieshack as well as on here. do we want to limit eligibilty to fish caught on friday nights or should it be whenever you can get there? a photograph will easily keep a tally

imho.... I say keep it limited to Friday nights.... that'll give us all a reason to get there on Fridays and the more the merrier....

i just spoke with the IF&W and they did not have any problem with the FNCL !! Game on!!

OK, I think I have this all figured out.

Crappie up to 12 in = 1 pt
crappie greater than 12 in = 2 pts
crappie greater than 14 in = 2 pts * weight
noncrapie = 1pt

All fish must have there pictures taken with rule (and scale when applicable)
All score keeping is kept by a FNCL official

At the end each night all the scores are are tallied and recorded and points are given for 1st -10th places
1st -10 pts
2nd - 9 pts
and so on.
This will encourage people to show up.
These are your points for the night.

Every two weeks an independent panel will convene examine the pictures (for quality and accuracy) and the points and then set the rank of the individual fisherpeople.

At that time points will be assigned similarly to the point system for the night rankings.

For the final three weeks of the season we will have the top ten set up for a "race to the championship"

At this point all scores are cleared and people get to show what they are made of.

For this 1 fish one point, no holds barred. (you have to follow if&w rules)

wed night would be great for me.........I might miss 3 or 4 friday nights....and I'd like to fish wed nights to stay in the race $:-\$

this could be fun...whatya wanna git dem involved fer

frozennutts and i have been working on a simple points sytem that will give bonus points for bigger fish but there will be no minimum length to avoid having to individually photograph each fish. i think you will all be pleased with the format we have chosen. we value everyones input so keep the ideas coming in .we are working hard to make it fair fun and easy for everyone.it will be run very similar to the IS online tourney. more info coming soon
