Two weeks ago I talked to my Uncles at the Fish House over there and they said it was terrible this year. Very few fish, if any at all they are small. Not sure if that has changed or not. Kate's Bay was where I usually fished in the winter.

We were there on Monday this week for perch on the mud flats in 30 fow .. Lots of 5 to 7 inchers with a few fish over 10" enough for a meal ! Threw back a couple really nice females ! Current was very heavy on Monday which didn't help for keeping a jig vertical !!So all in all the perch are mostly running small like platinum said ..
