Not sure of the date but there is a really well organized tourney near Westfield,WI, just a couple miles west of the big highway.  Lots of prizes and good food.  Had a blast last year.

Mark your calenders. January 21st,2006 is the date for the Mason Lake Lion's annual icefishing Jamboree. Mason lake is located straight east of Wisconsin Dells on state hwy. 23. food, door prizes ,cash awards for biggest fish in each catagory and cash raffle drawings. Last year I won the $500.00 grand cash prize. The headquarters for this event is at the public boat ramp by the wagon wheel campground. To get to the ramp turn off of hwy. 23 by The Cove Supperclub and that road will take you right to the ramp. Hope to see you there.

The Super trap at Lake redstone in Wisconsin is at 139 entries. 11 spots remain. It's 100.00 per person/ 2 man teams, total of 15 crappies between the two teammates. You can enter by going to www.iceteam and link to the entry page. Ice conditions are good and getting better.  It is feb.12 from 8am to 1p.m. in the afternoon. ;D

The fisheree on Mason Lake HAS BEEN CANCELLED. The lion's club does not want to take a chance that someone will walk on thin ice or fall into open water after dark. All lake entry points will be marked and all bad spots will be indicated. The raffle is still on at the south boat ramp by wagonwheel campground.
