Need help identifying a jig pole - PLEASE HELP!!!
« on: Sep 15, 2004, 01:58 PM »
Last year I bought a panfish jig pole. It is a darker blue color throughout the entire rod, except for at the tip- where it it chartruse yellow/green. It has the name "blizzard" printed on the rod near the cork handle. it is a pretty sensitive rod and works great for me. I think it was about 24" long.

I broke the tip off of it a couple of days ago, and am trying to find an identical successor for it. I've searched the 'net high and low with no results. if anyone would happen to have a pole just like it or know of the manufacturer - please let me know.

Thanks anglers.....

That may be made by South Bend.  I know they make a rod called the Black ice and Blizzard ice, but I don't know if they are blue or not.  I know HT Enterprises makes a blue rod call the Ice Blue.  Search for South Bend rods or HT Enterprises.  Hope this helps.  Russ

I think it is an HT rod.  Gander Mountain usually carries those.

That rod is definitely a South Bend, not an HT.  I remember seeing them for sale at Wal-Mart.

Icenutter hit it on the head. It is a south bend. I did more research following his post and boom- there it was. Thanks a bunch Russ! A big thanks to the rest of you guys that posted as well.
