My biggest walleye

I caught this walleye in 17 feet of water while jigging on 2 lb test with a 3mm jig tipped with two maggots. 



You can see the jig in the top of the fishes mouth.

helluva fish on that setup, I lost one this year at the hole on the jig rod that I still dream about.  Congrats.

I had just caught a pig perch and on the next drop down the hole the flasher marked a fish and pow it was on.  I was fishing with Polar Bear and I yelled to him and told him I had another stud perch on.  He came over to my hole and said " I don't think this is a perch."  I fought it for what seemed to be five or ten minutes and then polar bear got his arm wet and grabed it for me.  Was a pretty exciting moment.  Did not want to leave that night.  It just goes to show that you never know what might hit your jig the next time you drop it down the hole.  Bring on the ice!!!!!!!
