Welcome Nolan
« on: Jan 29, 2010, 08:25 PM »
Met a young man today named Nolan from Renns. county about 12 years old. He seemed as though he had just gotten a case of hardwater fishing disease. Lets all welcome him to the society of ice nuts and give him the encouragement of pursuing one of the hobbies of a true outdoorsman.

Yup welcome aboard Nolan. Watch out this is a bad Disease called Hard ice disease. This site is very addicting too.
A bad day fishing is better than being at work.

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY NOLAN! HERE IF YOU AINT CRAZY THEN YOUR NOT CUT OUT FOR THIS! I GOT THIS VIRUS CALLED HARDWATERITIS AND FROM WHAT THE DOCTORS AND THE DIVORCE ATTORNEY TOLD ME IS THAT THERE IS NO CURE! THE ONLY THING TO DO IS TO BE OUT THERE EVERY CHANCE YOU GET THEN THE SIDE-EFFECTS WONT BE TO BAD! SIDE-EFFECTS MAY INCLUDE EXTREME DELIGHT WHEN YOU KNOW YOUR GONNA GO OUT,SLEEPLESSNESS(YOU CANT SLEEP LIKE A LIL KID ON X-MAS EVE), THE TRUMBLES FROM NOT GETTIN OUT ENOUGH AND IRRITABILITY FROM NOT BEING OUT THERE WHEN THE BITE IS ON! AGAIN WELCOME TO THIS GREAT SPORT WE CALL ICE FISHING! HOPEFULLY YOU CAN GET SOME OF YOUR FRIENDS HOOKED LIKE YOU! GOOD LUCK AND HAVE A SAFE SEASON!
Crappies beware!!! The CrappieAssasin is on the prowl!!!

Thanks guys , I know Nolan looks at this site daily and I was worried about the lack of encouragement for a couple of days but I knew we would come through. Its better for a kid his age than wearing his ballcap sideways and playing video games.

You have met and been blessed with a friend Nolan. I've known Ridgerunner for quite a while, listen to his words and watch what he does(with fishing and life). You won't go wrong! We all welcome you to this great brotherhood. PM me if you want to get up in the great white north, maybe we can get Ridgerunner to bring you up for some good fishing.
Hey Ridgerunner, you are a good guy, accept my pat on the back!!
