how's the fishing and ice on twin lakes? i've only been out there twice and that was during early ice.
-
Walked out on upper Twin yesterday and talked to a guy fishing. Ice was good and 20" or more thick. He was catching small perch but said he had been catching crappie out there at night.
-
Fished Upper Twin today. 22" Ice. Only dinky perch and sunfish.

Yep.... Lower twin has bluebacks. Not as thich as someplaces, but I have caught some nice ones out of there.

We are talking about Twin Lakes by Preston Idaho . Which one is the lower lake . I have caught just about everything out of this lake , but never kokes . I caught a few crappie last summer that was a first for me . When I want kokes I go to Mackey or Ririe Res.

Sorry about that. Im talking about the Twin lakes north of Rathdrum and south of Spirit lake.

Would it be worth the drive?
