Cold weather is finally setting in across the county and we'll be ice fishing soon!  Spring gear is also showing up though, and now's your chance to save big on almost everything ice fishing!

We will start posting ice conditions soon!  Weather this week should cap over some of the small lakes.

It is a winter wonderland here in Tioga County this morning!  Most of the smaller lakes had capped over or nearly capped over before the storm.  This heavy snow should weigh down the ice sheet, forcing water through and turning snow into a layer of white ice as it refreezes.  The ones that haven't frozen will be ready for the next round of cold weather. A little more snow and rain is expected mid week.  Ice losses should be minimal, and we should see the ice building through most of the rest of the month 🙂.  Get the gear ready!  It's about that time.  We will start posting ice conditions regularly later this week.
