todays COLD trip.(pics)
« on: Jan 26, 2013, 06:59 PM »
wicked cold with about a 10-15 mph breeze today, windchills had to be way below zero. but got to fish a spot that some years you cant get to because of thin to no ice..

If you consider it a sport to gather your food by drilling through 36 inches of ice and sitting there all day hoping that the food will swim by, you might live in northern New York

Good job braving the cold today...winds were nasty here too...never got above 16....

Great job Matt! Love the flash frozen mounts! No taxidermist needed (provided you live in an Igloo) ! Really nice fish, congrats!

Yes, thats true ..wish you could clean them on the ice...would make the process a lot easier..but ,at least no cooler or freezer is needed....but ,you get to play Quincy back home and analyze stomach contents to see what they have been feeding on by cleaning them home in your heated workshop..!! ;)Just a thought.....
