Finally a taste of winter coming.  Looks like the cold temps will stick around through deer season.  Lets hope it sticks around long enough to start to skim over some of the smaller ponds.  Lows in the teens tomorrow night and lows for the next week or so in the lower 20's.  Sound slike ice making weather to me!

I know I cant stand it any more My wife thinks I"m nuts I love freezing cold and nothing but cloudy gray sky's no sun no bugs.  Bear season and deer season will keep my mind occupied for a few more weeks and not to forget trapping some shiners. Last year I did not trap any and I was at the mercy of the bait shops at almost $6.00 a dozen not this year I"ll be ready!!!!!!!!

the bay has a sheet of skim ice yipeeee lol.  im going to sue mother nature if it warms up again

A small 15 acre pond this morning by my house had ice about a foot around the edges.  No doubt with temps getting into the teens tonight that a skim layer will form tonight.

Was out for ducks this am, small ponds down here-allentown area, were skinned over.
