+24" on top of the +20" from last week.
Snow doesn't bother me too much. I hate the fact that it'll make parking at some of the lakes a PITA. Any places where you park along the road are going to have hills of snow on them now. Gonna have to head north where the snowfall amounts have been less  :)

This so far is the 5th least snowiest years on record

Here's what it looked like in York Co close to Lake Marburg at my folks house. These were taken on Wednesday! I'm guessing close to 20 inches more since the last storm.

Back to back snowfall records in our area, 31" round one, 12" round two, total 43"...in Maryland about an hour North of DC.  I used a bucket to measure the snowfall so these numbers shouldn't be influenced by drifting much.  The second storm was a blizzard a couple days ago with 30-40 mph sustained winds with gusts stronger than that, so a lot of snow was moving sideways.  The weird thing about my house is that I often lose power even when there aren't any storms, and this time the threat of losing power lasted for 5 days and we didn't even have a flicker...it was a miracle!

Yeah Dave, every inch was shoveled.  But, my daughter helped me out a lot.  Total time shoveling for both storms was 14 hours.  My back is still sore.  Gotta get me a snow blower for next year.  I'm gettin' too old for this!  Since I've moved into this house the most snow we got all winter was 8" total!  The shovel worked just fine.  Now they're calling for more snow on Monday, maybe as much as another foot!!!!!!!1 :o

Buying a snowblower will insure that it will never snow again.
