Looks interesting, I don't know if I would use it personally but I guess for older guys who can't move as fast it might be nice.

One thing is I doubt that walleye lived long or seen much after he was caught, his eyes would have been frozen pretty good after being out of the water in -5 Fahrenheit weather.
pour me another one, I'm finished with the other one

Doesn't look like it could do anything that my skimmer can't. Save yo' moolah!

It LOOKS good.  But it is just one more thing to carry along.  Aren't cold hands part of the fun of ice fishing?  If we make it too comfortable, we might as well just climb in our trucks and haul our boats south.

all the fish on video were small and they were brought up through the hole sideways i dont understand how u would fit a 31 inch pikerell through a 10 inch hole sideways
fishing isn't a matter of life and death its much more important!!!

My brother-in-law made one of these about 5 years ago - never realized there was one on the market. It actually works quite well. We don't put it in the hole until after we after we get a flag and have the fish close to the hole. We don't use the fish saver (what we call it) to pull the fish up out of the hole, but more for insurance in case we loose the fish just as you're getting it up through the hole. Have only used it when there's about 2-1/2 to 3 ft. of ice and fishing for Togue through a 10 in. hole. It probably wouldn't work very well with only 6 in. of ice.

Here's a pic of it strapped on a dog sled. The thing that looks like a skimmer with an orange handle

Check you local regs too, in Canada that would be considered illegal netting if the fish was off the line.
