Cold day but these fatties made it worth it.

Also I lost a white Abu Garcia Veritas Ice Rod on the way in. Took the same path out and it wasn’t there... If someone found it and wants to return it great, if not keep it and catch some fish on it.

Thanks guys. I was out there on Saturday and only got into the trout.

Yesterday was definitely like it was a  few weeks ago. The schools were moving fast tho. Due to the wind and cold I ended up staying put and had 4 schools come through. I should have had more but my line was freezing up and I couldn’t get my bait back down fast enough.

Nice perch!  10 or 12 fish at that size yields a good amount of meat for minimal fillet time, no need for more!

True that, Im the same way, esp when they are that size!  A lot easiser to walk away in the afternoon when your pulling in 9s, not 12s.
