I was catching them predominately on worms.  I think the other guys were using minnows.

Did the bait shop on Fluvanna Ave. ever open up?  Looking for shops since Happy Hooker is gone. I know Hogans has bait, but looking at south end.

Fluvanna bait shop was only open during the summer. I just see a sign on the pet shop saying they have live bait. Shop is on Washington street just short of tops. I'll swing in and see what they are going to have. Only other one I know of is Chautauqua Reel Outdoors in Lakewood past the mall. Mike usually has anything your looking for. Was in there last week and see that he has more than doubled in size.

there's the little gas station / bait shop on the other side of the bridge from Bemus. They've got everything you need, stop there all the time to get minnows when I head there!

What about Al's bait and porn on j&g . .used to ride bike there when i was a kid . .stop there before going to carlsons to fish the docks . . . There is Raynors in Westfield. Looking fwd to some eyes ths year!  :o

I remember Dave & the bait pond,  it was what I  would call a old time bait shop not much tackle but all sorts of live bait & hand made jigging  rappallas, I still have a few wonder if they are woth anything ?

oh yeah i can still smell that place lol guess i'm getting older i remeber lonnie at the happy hooker great guy used to get some great deals from him. i miss all the people i've met down  there over the years

Dave at the bait pond was awesome,very old school.  How about the redwood ranch ? another excellent place , Pat did her best after her husband died. Do they even rent rooms anymore ?
