We met at a few lake authur gatherings I have given up ice fishing due to a few health issues.I sold my wide one eskimo to eddie spaghetti but i still hve my ion also humminbird -ice 55 and a Lowrance elite 5 if you know anyone interested. Hope you guys get some safe ice enjoy

I see the Temps are getting better Fer hardwater fishin and the gang is popping up...new news i'm gonna be a grand paw in April I will definitely grow the sport with my grandson can't wait

Hi All, New to the forum, new to the sport. Live just over the hill on the west end of Lk Arthur.

Took my spud bar for a ride late afternoon, was seeing 1 to 1 1/2 at church, muddy creek shoreline.

Not sure how the snow will affect ice build, hope to get lines wet over the weekend.

Hello everyone, was glad to see some chatter here. Been slowly getting some stuff out of storage!
Cajun Tony we met a few years ago with my brother near the maples & you let us try your camera out. I’ve since got one! Pretty awesome of you though!
Far from retirement myself, hoping to get some good ice, always a good time packed or not! Just go when I can! I will be impatiently checking ice growth on local ponds this week as time allows.. but plan to detour and hope to check lake Arthur Friday evening on my way home from work.
Will post any Ice info I gather

Mknott , O'Donnell is the only place I know of . I usually set a minnow trap 48 hours ahead of a fishing day in a local stream . I have a small aerator to keep them alive till then .

Last night at dark there were 2 hubs in shannon and one up muddy creek on the far side of the lake from upper 528 boat launch.

Professor , look under Pennsylvania ice conditions report . Then look for lake Arthur . Guys have been reporting conditions 👍

Today at 4:30 there was at least 4 at the church when I went over 528 bridge..
There was a few fishing earlier today on muddy.

Checked a couple local ponds today, 20-30min East of moraine. One had 2.25” of ice, another one was under 2”.

Had a min. Of ~4” out in muddy creek last night, got ten bluegill and a crappie with the kids, but.. then had huge sketchy crack start .. we were at the maples area, about 30yd straight out from the spring & it ran over 100yds
Ton of water and wet snow where the crack was, loud cracks and could feel it moving. Very uneasy feels!
