That DOES look delicious! And perfectly fried!

I've been chowing down on panfish this season and have been trying to cook the perch and crappie a tiny bit healthier. If you still have a couple bags of fish kicking around, you might want to give this recipe a shot. Baked crappie (or perch) with mustard dill sauce:

I like to cook each side for six to seven minutes.

Hope to get a few more this weekend. It's the only reason my wife let's me go fishing. She loves the Perch. Later it will be Cod and Haddock.

Jay how's the stickers? Been getting lot's of good comments from mine.

nice fry - I love eating perch...especially through the ice!  I too have been looking for healthier alternatives to the standard fry - baked perch/walleye with just about any kind of sauce/liquid drizzled over is great.  I did my last batch with garlic butter, scallions, lemon zest and white wine sprinkled on top. So easy, so good and healthy!

I've been eating perch and bass all winter (:it's sooo good. I like perch "shrimp cocktail" style. it's different,but healthy and tasty
