Neptune, Jim F and I fished middle thompson yesterday the 5th and didn,t see any on the finders or have any hits. Other people not doing anything either. Neptune did try to land a pike on a salmon rig and pole did get to see him once. LOL

I found salmon this morning, but still did not get any on the ice, They have been lock jawed for 2 weeks now.
I went around the west end on the ACM south road to the little campground on the point, Walked straight out into the bay, Drilled a series
of holes as I went looking for fish. Got to 146 before I found them, About 11 am. The few bites I missed where 35-40 feet suspended.
Earlier might be better, or, I think a bunch of us need to get some lights and beat it to froth deep into the night and see what happens.

One other thing, be SURE to have cleats on your shoes. It is glare ice and extremely slippery.
you could haul ass with ice skates and a sail  ;D

There was one guy on Loon whne I drove by yesterday.
Didnt see anything flopping, but he was in a house.

Honestly, I think I'd go to Bitteroot or Ashley, or Lake 5
Need some company  ???

I would be up for a trip some night this week...That is usually a good spot, that rtrvler mentioned, but I have a few others that would be worth checking out...The night bite up there tends to be a midnight to 3-4 AM bite, at least thats when I have always fished there at night.

Any evidence of the late nighters being out there off that point?
If I\'m not fishing, I\'m probably thinking about fishing...And if I\'m thinking about fishing, I\'m probably not getting much else done so, I might as well go fishing...Yeah, I just said that!

Yes, there was holes once I got to 125+ feet depths. However, I was there  2 nights, didn't see anyone fishing at night.
I did not night fish this time around, as the wind was howling overnight. I wanted too, just wimped out from the wind

Thursday and Friday night are supposed to be warm :woot:
