I have been wondering about fishing and air pressure lately too.. I know the day i checked it before going out fishing during the start of really cold spell we had just after new years the pressure was pretty high and our fishing was very slow.

I was out at dief today and the fishing was incredibly slow.   We saw a ton of perch and only had about 3 bites but never landed any, we also saw a few other fish with little intereset other than looking at the hook and moving towards it then going past.

I used to track barometer a couple of seasons ago. It seemed dropping or really low pressure less than 101 KPa was always bad that year.

Some may agree with me but I have found that trout fishing wether it be lake trout rainbows or brookies turns on during rising and high barometric pressure. Where I grew up fishing in northern Manitoba low pressure is awesome for walleye in shallow water. Seems to push them into narrows and sand flats .slow but steady bite.
