Just wanted to give you all a heads up about Bomo. There is 5 inches of real good ice up to Eckly Point on the northern end of the lake. The main Lake has only about 1-2 inches of ice on it. So MAYBE by the this Sunday it might be fishable. I am going to wait until next Wednesday to try my luck and venture out. The bite was very slow for me today and i only caught two big perch that I released. The water was crystal clear everywhere and the weeds are green and tall still. So the fishing should be good in there for a couple of weeks or until the ice gets thicker. I know the crappies are in there but i could not find them today
. Anyways be safe out there and good luck

I love Ice Fishing the lakes of Rutland County. Recently moved to NY and now will be Ice fishing the Lakes Of New York.
