I never understood this either cause devils rock has never been a good producing area for anything if much size! Must be the easy roadside access!! ???

I hate making posts like this, but your friends are trying to get you and others killed. I drove by at 4 pm last night and there was still a ton of open water on the south end, including devils rock. Dont believe anybodys estimate of ice depth till you check it yourself. most of the lake froze over 2 nights ago. There is NOT 4-6 inches of ice all over the lake!!!!!!! Somebody is going to go swimming this year!

i agree....don't take anything for granted ...... i don't want to have to give up fishing to pull some morons backside out of the water(on the local ice rescue team) .....but if your going to venture out  do it tomorrow , we are going to do a ice rescue training in the morning......  ;D
