Your a brave man,Im in iroquoix Cnty and ive got slop and spongy ice here I thought I would get lucky today, got about 10,15, or so feet out spud right through could feel the sag under my feet, slid back pretending to be a feather got choked up thought the worst.I am not going out on the ponds here at all now its a young mans game.today caught me, im really glad I didnt take a drink! With this warm up and rain comming I think its over for my area it sucks only got out 6 times this whole season, but it still beats last year. if I go now its north or nothing I can feel the doldrums, glad Feb is short, Be Safe !!!

the ice isn't ideal at all, but at 7" i felt good about it. drilled a lot of holes to check for consistency.
