Title: Beaver Creek Report
Post by: jschaffer on Jan 14, 2005, 05:26 PM
We went fishing on Beaver Creek last Sunday (the 9th) and did pretty well.  The ice was about 8 to 10" thick so I am sure it is really thick now.

Caught perch from 40ft of water all the way up to 14ft.  The bigger ones (some up to 3/4lb) were up in the shallower parts.  Always fishing about 6" off the bottom.  Caught quite a few nice (12" to 15") trout at various depths and one walley up shallow by the Dam right at dark.  Had two tip ups out all day and never got a hit.  Using dead smelt.
