Not the closest lake I fish (about 10 min. away), but the lake I fish the most in the hardwater season.  I've got two other smaller trout lakes within walking distance, but I don't fish them nearly as much. This is about 1/5th of the lake in the pic.

A couple pics of Mallet's Bay on Lake Champlain

The employment of effort, hard work, time, and energy put in locating fish will offend noone.

Ann on first ice, 10 min from my home. She is a big dirty smelly river flowage with water that looks like coffee

Here are a few of the springs that make me keep my pickup OFF! This dude has no worries with his scort. ;D

The lake next closest to my home is Mille Lacs! It is only 15 min away tops. Here are a few pics fom a warm spring day out on the superslab

130,000 acres of mud, gravel, and rock! You could fish it every day of your life and always find something new. :)

I guess I should have clarified which Pigeon lake, as I imagine there are a few. I am from Edmonton and the Pigeon lake I refer to is about an hour south and west of Edmonton.

This is where I attempt to catch fish.  The Monksville reservoir is less than 15 minutes from my home where I do both hard and soft water fishing.  The fishing here is difficult and is sometimes called the Skunksville.

This is looking into the flooded trees in West Milford

This is looking back toward Rt. 511.  West Milford is on the left and Ringwood is on the right.

Cheshire Lake, Berkshire County, where we try to catch large Pike and Bass. It is loaded with Crappie, Perch, and PanFish

And those nasty birds that poop everywhere!
If fishing was work I'd never be sick!

here's a few of my favorite spots........

Androscoggin river........errol, nh

winnipeasaukee in the summer months

joppa flats........in newburyport, ma

when chuck norris played golf for money, chuck marked down a hole in zero every time, the golf pro said, "chuck: you can't score zero on a hole." Chuck norris turned towards the man and said, "I'm chuck norris, the man proceeded to pour gas over his body and set himself on fire because that would be less painful than getting roundhouse kicked by chuck norris....chuck norris roundhouse kicked him in the face anyways

I love that photo from Dog lake Ice Junky. The fishing was not the best during a few outings out there last season looking for crappies  >:(

Plan to scrap that and just target the splake this year.

Thanx Tip-uptwo, it is a personal fav of mine as well, both Dog pics are from the same day, it was so windy we had to lay down and work the marmish. I destroyed a Shapple two man trying to set up in that wind. ChowderHead is the guy with me and his wife took the pic, the wind actuallt blew her like 50yards down ice as she stood up.

Let me know when your headed down and I will meet you out there. I dont get to the far end that much but would like to
