Northern Alberta Ice Action.

We braved the cold on the 23rd and went on an adventure. I was up at 4:45 and hit the trail. Picked up my son at 7 from there we trucked another hour and a half, then unloaded the machines and headed into one of the back woods lakes in our area looking for perch. Unfortunately they haven't came back quite big enough after a bad winter kill about 8 years back. They are in there just not very big yet. At noon we packed up and came out and hit One of the big lakes for an afternoon bite. Managed a few nice fish for our efforts. It was a bit cold but in all a fun day out on the ice.
