Strange Objects from a Foreign Land
« on: Feb 21, 2005, 06:36 PM »
My parent company is based in Sweden, and by happy coincidence, one of my counterparts there is also an avid fisherman.  We recently made an exchange of goodies.  He got a Scientific Anglers sink-tip fly line, and I got this stuff.

All in original packaging-

Some quick packaging close-ups-

And everything out of the packaging-

If anyone would like some better shots, I'd be happy to take them.  With any luck, I'll be using the 2 big spoons for lakers on Lake George this weekend!

I'm a-going to stay where ya sleep all day,
Where they hung the jerk who invented work
In the big rock candy mountains.

We traded pictures before we traded goodies.  He sent me a pic of a fly-caught 8 pound rainbow, and I sent one back of my first tiger musky.  Turns out he's actually a pike junkie too, so I sent him a few 4.5" Grandmas along with the fly line.

It doesn't matter if you didn't catch anything as long as you had fun.

Ain't it cool how icefishing can bring people together not only across the country, but across the world?

Can you get the Swedish Pimple's real cheap in Swedend?

Some nice looking jigs there, a couple of those look like they might possibly hammer the perch on the KING... ::)  ;)
