Title: I caught a Blue Perch....anyone else?
Post by: Churchill River on Feb 01, 2019, 08:52 AM: I posted on the Blackstrap forum that I caught a Blue Perch yesterday. In checking the
website they are saying the chances of catching one are 1 in millions.

Just wondering if anyone else has been lucky enough to catch one in Blackstrap or other lakes here in
Saskatchewan.

Now that one is very different, that the first I’ve ever seen without stripes, let alone blue. Sure it’s a perch Or not from Chernobyl?!

never seen a perch with no stripes.....I would of lost money on that bet.

Post by: Dooman on Feb 04, 2019, 04:26 PM: i've caught one that looked really faded like jeb's there, not totally sure it was actually a blue perch or not, definitely not nearly as blue as yours, could be a lighting thing too though, who knows. i didn't even take a pic i didnt really realize it was anything particularly special until reading about it some time afterwards.
