Eskimo 8” bullet v2 Hand Auger

Has anyone tried to adapt a drill auger with a hand crank and turned the auger by hand? Would be for backup or thin ice.

Similar to the nils setup.

Just buy a hand auger and a drill adapter!! Simple!!  ;)2 :thumbsup: :clap: :whistle:

Think you will have better success just getting a hand auger? Mini Nero for under $100.00 saw a Swedish mora for under $60.00. From what I understand nils replacement blades are pretty expensive. I went with Nero cause I am going as light as I can. Good luck with whatever you go with!
