No. I could have from the Ice castle dealer in Spirit Lake. However, I drove north a couple hours to save some money and get a better selection for colors. There is only one Ice Castle Dealer in Iowa, he's a great guy and class act....we were just a hair away from getting together on a shack.

Yes. I live in the NW part of the state. Not very far from the SD or MN boarder. Some years it varies and there might not be enough ice at the IGL and some years plenty of ice. We tend to do trips to Bitter Lake in SD, Upper Red In MN, and a few others. The shack also has AC so it can be used in the summer for camping. Never have to worry about a hotel room, or having the problem of not being able to move or switch lakes. Having Direct TV in there on Sunday for NFL games.......

I got some relatives and friends that hit Bitter pretty hard, they have a LOTW ice castle on bitter and a few guys rotate in and out, but the shack is up there for about a month with guys living in it for about a week and switching out. For showers they just go into the resorts.

Sweet looking rig and hopefully we'll have some solid ice at the IGLs this year to give it plenty use. I always wondered if getting one of those things is like winning the lottery, all of a sudden you have a bunch of new friends/family wanting to hang out on the ice.

By the way, can I be your friend?!  ;D

Awesome! An ice shack will be the first thing I buy if I ever move back to the midwest.  Unfortunately, there isn't any use for them here in CO.

Don't know haven't used any of it yet. Lol.  Went glow because I figured it would be nice at night when you had to go pee....I did test the glow on them and they glow a blue hue....which was nice thought they would be green.
