Best way to tow portable? (Shappell)
« on: Nov 18, 2003, 05:38 PM »
Want to use a tow hitch on my four wheeler this year to tow my Shappell.  Any suggestions on durability/quality of different brands?  What do you guys use on the snowmobiles and four wheelers?

I made a hitch that bolts on the back bumper of my snowmobile. Basicly its a hinged plate with a hole in it to pin in the tow bars of the shanty. You need to make up some tow bars for your shanty some how, if you pull using the ropes you will have it running into you when you stop of change speed, elecrical conduit works real well and its cheap.
