I like the silence too....Just thinking of listening to nothing with your feet up on your snowmobile basking in the sun, when all of a sudden you hear your flag rip through the water as a 5lb speck takes your bait.
As Moderators, it is sad to see the season end. BUT it gives our delete fingers time to heal up. LOL !!! HIMO Iceshanty & MFF Global Moderator
The worst part is sending all the PM's explaining why there posts were deleted...
PM's? who sends PM's?? LOL!!!
Yea, listen to the silence, oh I can't, I have tinnitus, ringing of the ears, it is so load most of the time it keeps me awake. Backround noise helps. Being outside on the ice I don't hear it as much.
yep me to after 35 years around jackhammers and heavy equipment , think i will make this my last season , last year the doc ask me how the ringing was and i replied can't you hear it :woot; quiet of ice fishing works fo me ,just doesn't last long enough
i was going to pull the plug in june but think i'll ride it out till end of season , lots of storm and water to do , plus footings and 30 min. from home closest i have been in years
Its so nice and quiet around here its like sitting on a frozen lake all by yourself.....
Who do you work for?
How's the ice situation looking? Can I take a quad out?
We have roughly about 7 1/2 months of relative peace and quiet before the Chaos and Mayhem ensues once again, I plan to make the most of it and enjoy myself, just my .02 !
Maxim Construction , site work and some paving
The only reason I asked, my son works for Bette & Cring out of Watertown & Latham, he works out of Latham but a lot of guys come from your area & work down here.
