Adjustable dual jig crappie type rig for goldeye

(1/1)

walley_eye:
I'm wanting to rig up a double jig crappie rig sort of like a pickeral rig but without the metal parts.

Something I can put a jig at the bottom of the line and another a foot or so up from that but that one should be adjustable up and down.
The top jig should be on a short piece of line, not on the main vertical line.

It is to catch light biters like goldeye with tiny hooks and will be fished on the Manitoba Red River where theres current.

I dont wanna use a pickerel rig.

krispcritter:
Bear paw line leader connectors. Has small barrel that main line passes through to a pin that holds a short line for hook. Use them all the time for Perch. Often catching triples.
Don't know how to post a link but quick search will bring it up. Fish USA carries them as well as most tackle shops.

krispcritter:

Ha, figured something out.

hardwater diehard:
I am thinking  thread a small BB swivel on your main line through one end ...then a small bead ...then bobber stop ...add a jig to the bottom of the main line...then add a line to the swivel with a jig.

krispcritter:
Before I started using the bear paws, we used a try swivel and just wrapped our line through 2 holes. The bear paws are quicker to adjust and put on.
