Been colder than Pluto here so far this winter. :-\
We've already had more days below -40 this winter than the last 2 winters combined. >:(
Hopefully it will be warm enough to get out and catch a little food soon.
And maybe another 40"+ pike for the tourney. ;)2

Afraid not Wayne.
We haven't had a caribou season for 6 years now due to a crash of our herd. :'(

A combination of all the usual factors. Natural fluctuation in population size compounded by a commercial harvest, heavy outfitting pressure, significant local hunting pressure and plenty of wolves. Not likely some of those herds will ever rebound unfortunately. Got lots here dave, come up next aug for opener. 2 tags each. Did you get caught in that power outage?? Damn cold winter so far.

Yep, it sucked.
Luckily my cell phone was still working, so I set it up as a WiFi access point and connected my laptop to it so I could stream the Leafs game in the dark. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Freezing rain here today dave, then in the 40's to 50's by tomorrow.. WHERE'S THAT HAPPY MEDIUM.. Just got some good solid ice so the sportsman weren't in danger.. The river's were froze nice for smelting.. AND NOW THIS CRAP.. Oh Well.. Hope you can get out soon..

I made it out this weekend. Iced 3 decent trout without trying too hard. It's the quietest I've ever seen it on the trails. We spent the night at our tent. Didn't hear or see another skidoo all weekend.
