Protecting our outstanding fisheries!!!
« on: Dec 04, 2007, 10:38 AM »
Recently i read a article in "In Fisherman Ice Fishing Guide 2008" which made me really think about how many fish i will keep this year and also how many large females i will release, as opposed to previous years.  I feel this is a great article for every fisherman to read, an think it will make alot of people realize that "What's Legal isn't necessarily ethical".  I don't know just thought I'd throw it out there, cause its pretty tough to pull off of a consistent 20 perch an hour hot spot, but this year we should all reconsider how many fish we keep and keep it realistic, i mean why do 3 people need 150 perch, or 15 trout, how bout 50 perch and 4 trout, again i don't know just throwin it out there.

On a different note, ruby had 4-7 inches of ice last sat, and the fishing was outstanding!
