I dont think people realize how much moving water there is on that lake. Look on a map. Rivers on 3 sides.  I've driven on a couple times but it was 16"+ . The fishing there sucks so bad I'm not sure who would be willing to lose their vehicle to that swamp

There was 10+ inches left of the boat ramp a couple weeks ago.  I'd say its pretty close.

I drove on lake Mattawa one year. Got on at the boat ramp, drove clear across the lake to a steep point drop off on the other side. Only vehicle I've ever seen out there. Not sure why.

There was a guy doing that on Sunday.  Some people may not understand you can get nailed for reckless driving on the ice just like you can on the road.

I just picked up my light and tried it out on Saturday, how do you fish with it. I still have to figure out some of the details.

Drop it and fish the very edge of the light.  Sometimes it helps sometimes it doesnt.  Takes about an hour for the light to attract fish on most of the occasions Ive used it.

Those cats are just over the border and not just driving on ice but racing cars.

It was at least 18 inches at Whalom today.
I like everything in excess, even my moderation.
