Yep, I picked one up and was testing the action one day while perching.

I hear they are lighter than a comparatively sized Nils Master Jigging Shad. Is that true?

Yeah, they're made from zinc, I think. Not lead.
They're a lot lighter than the regular Raps.

That probably means they would have better action on lighter line. Swim baits seem to swim in a slower, better circle when you use heavier line.

I thought the action was great on 4# mono.

I bought a few of these this fall and have only used them a little bit, as my confindence in them isn't very high yet. Anyone care to share some tips, or knowlage?

i just also just bought a glow in the dark perch colored one at Cabelas last weekend, i cant waight till ice-on to test them out

They have great action, but I had dozens of walleyes swim up and inspect them last year, and not one single one hit...few smallies did though.

The Nils has worked well for me on the open water for walleye. On the ice I sometimes use it to draw in perch and then jig them with something smaller.
