warm weather is setting us back unless it turns cold soon.  water temp at the club is still in the 60's

Still way to early lol If it were to drop 1 a degree a day for the next month  we'd be sitting pretty for December.

water temp on the river is 61-62, still have a 6-7 week period to use the boat, catching some great small mouth and large's in the river

Weather channel is terrible and continues to get worse. Weather.gov is where its at.  Dec 11th was the start for me last year.  I am shooting for 29 November this year.

I'm thinking December 16th I'll be on the ice in MA.  The jet stream is supposed to take a big deep and we are projected to get much colder temps the first couple of weeks in December.  I think the ponds up in them there hills should have some fishable ice by then.

40% chance Ill fish softwater this weekend....60% chance hardwater.  After this weekend its ice all the way to April!

I havent even dragged out y ice fishing gear yet :(

I saw some skim ice on a local pond the other day, but it was almost 50deg by noon and everything was gone.

Last spot check was 250 miles one way.  NY...I think I am gonma go sunday just to do get the season started.
