What is jet speed?  Is that the same as a jet sled?

I agree we put 1 shanty out Monday we were drilling 9in past deer island. we went yesterday to pull 2 more out and the first one broke Threw the ice 200 yrds from the shore. luckily we were going fast enough it broke Threw then came right out. just goes to show you still have to watch were you go.

I hit the bait shop this afternoon (don't worry, I'm fishing a different lake)  and the bait shop had a lot of people in it getting bait and last minute supplies for the contest.

Guys from our party took 2nd in the 5th hour and 4th in one of the later rounds. We actually weighed in six fish total and caught and released a few smaller walleye, a handful of bass, and one monster perch. Overall, I saw more fish caught today on Sacandaga than in the last three years combined. It's normally rather bleak out there.
