what  snow is on the ice is getting blown off. fished from 7-11, crazy, stupid wind!! 1 flag hit and run. shanty's are holding strong. didn't get the door on today(someone in our group over slept) we will be back out tomorrow to install the door and move the shacks off the island to reclaim our fishing grounds. seems as though if your not on the ice where your fishing your neighbor's move into your backyard. time to re-spool the tip ups. FISH ON!! TIGHT LINES EVERYONE.

most if not everyone fishes below the batchlerville and the Northville bridges due to the current in the river channels.

Has anyone had much luck off the Brodalbin boat launch the last few years ?   I fished this spot last year and didn't get very many flags.

yes many guys fish out of the boat launch. they go towards sand island or scout island. find the groups and the channel and you should be into fish.

Does it sound like the Sacandaga region is going to get any more lake effect snow over the next couple of days? Still undecided about the sled or the wheeler for the weekend?

Looking forward to Saturday either way!!!

just take the 4 wheeler it will be alot easier.
remember there is a lot of road between the camp and the ice.
