KEEP DEAD BAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
« on: Feb 05, 2003, 02:15 PM »
Hey guys heres a tip you may find interesting. When ever you have dead minnows, worms or whatever bait you are using you can take the bait, dice it so its almost a pulp and put it in a coffee can with small holes in it and put it in a hole about 2 feet from where you are jigging and tie it down to something. This is basically chumming but believe me...Crappies LOVE it!!!If this also works for you let me know. ;D ;D ;D :'( :'( :'(

Dead (but not "ripe") minnows or minnow parts also work well jigging under the ice.

PM me to swap information on fishing holes or to go fish'in sometime in the Syracuse Central NY area (Onondaga and Madison county water holes in particular).
