Lowrance hook2 4x

 Hello. Is anyone not new to electronics using this unit in the ice pack? Im but I am new to on ice. I took the new unit out for the first time today and wasnt able to see much. Never saw my jig. Saw what may have been fish. My son is using my old Mark pro 5x and that seems much better. Im sure Im doing something wrong. Any ideas? I did set it up to ice fishing mode.

Try it on the custom mode, you have more options.  Page 24 in the manual.

Thank you. I did try that. Was talking to a lowrance rep in cabelas Sunday and he feels its a bad transducer. Says it happens ?

If it's a new unit, I would call them and tell them the rep told you it was a bad transducer and they should replace it.
