Nice black ice on a small pond in the N.W. corner. About 3-4” thick. A few small Bass so far. Great to be out.

Me and my boy ZT33 found some ice in NW RI also today with 2 - 2.5 inches of black ice!!! At 6am it was 23F and by 11am it was 39F. 1 flag went off and nobody home. It still was an amazing day out there. We have never been ice fishing in Nov in RI in our lives. It was nice to get out today!!!

Nice work gentlemen. I've been slacking on getting all my gear ready but hopefully by the end of december we'll have another cold snap and get another shot. Had to double check the date when I first saw the post. Should be a good season

Sharps, going to take a few whacks with the spud in a little bit. Fully locked when I drove by. I'll let you know what I find. Other than that, I'll probably check out other go to spots. I think this year it might be time for me to get my mass license and do some traveling

Well went and took a few wacks, about 3.5 inches 5 feet off shore, went out a little further and 2-3 wacks and ice was cracking like crazy. Maybe a few more days and it'll be good. And yes I already know many spots in central mass as I lurk on the Mass forum a lot

Reginal bonz, I'm up in the opposite corner of the state but Wednesday I'm definitely taking the drive over there and seeing what I find. If anyone else has intel a point in the right direction would be appreciated. Pm if needed but I'll share what I find on my own

I checked Wilson’s and Wakefield this afternoon. About 2.5” at both places. It’s going to be a little while longer before I will go out there. A few of the small shallow ponds in the area have about 4” of nice black ice. Be safe.

Bowdish has about 3-4 inches of tight ICE right now. Man, it's making ALOT of noise all night. Won't last though with the weekend coming up.
