I can wait, have more logs to render into firewood and of course hunting season to enjoy prior to.

I did receive a sales flyer from Cabela's yesterday and earmarked some heavy weight long legged underwear to purchase so you might say I am getting ready  ;D

I sure am. It can’t come quick enough or stay long enough. It’s almost that time of year when I get everything out and prepare 4 months early. I’ve recently been watching back episodes of IDO trying to get my fix.

Not quite yet, but getting there! Looking into some FXR bibs with the F.A.S.T flotation system. They are pricey, but I fish solo 95% of the time and it would really give me piece of mind.

It's not time to put the kayak away for the season quite yet, but I just picked up some more insulated tip ups for this season. It's got to stay warm enough that those things are going dirt cheap for at least another few weeks.

yeah, looking forward to ice but I'm looking forward to 2 or 3 more months with the kayak as well. Most of the summer was wet and sloppy so I'm hoping to get at least a few good trips before the cold sets in.
