Minnesota - Blizzard and 14 inches of snow
« on: Apr 14, 2018, 11:33 AM »
But ice fishing is closed for game fish...and soft water seems a myth at the current time.
With my father-in-law, one morning on Birch
In aluminum pews in our wilderness church
On our pilgrimage blest and mission devout
We travailed and prayed for magnificent trout

Yep, river trout begins today, but we have about foot of fresh snow and full blizzard conditions.

Might be tough ice fishing after this! Too bad, it was a blast!

We didn't end up getting much here. Couple inches overnight. Ice is still 2 feet thick. I'm taking snowshoes out onto the ice this afternoon to see if any crappies need help digging out... Just trying to be neighborly.

  • Rather be judged by 12 then carried by 6.
