Syracuse ice fishing show.

Hello all. Wishing you all a safe and successful 2018-2019 season. Does anyone know if there is going to be an ice fishing show at the On-Center this year? Thanks.

I hear there is one at the State Fair Grounds, sometime in Jan., but other details.

I read somewhere it was Jan 25 thru 27th but i dont remember where i saw it !

I think the Jan event is a sportsman show but would probably have some ice fishing benders.

The one in Syracuse at the fairgrounds in January is an "outdoor show" not ice fishing, mostly just a vendor show.  The Niagara Falls show is also an "outdoor show" , well worth your time, lots of free seminars on various topics including ice fishing.

I went to the Niagara / Buffalo show a couple of years back. I was told it was an ice fishing show. It wasn't. There was very little on ice fishing. Thorne Brothers were there. I was told there would be great prices / discounts on gear. I didn't see any. Most prices were at or near regular retail. There were only a couple of seminars about ice fishing that I saw. Since it was a 10 hour round trip for me, it wasn't worth it. I won't be going again. I miss the ON Center shows from a few years back. They were ice fishing shows, weren't bad. And half the travel time for me. JMTCSW!
