Fished the tourney today at tarryall. It was my first ever tournament and the Bite was sloooowww.... infact nothing but stockers were caught... minus one 15 in northern. The winning fish for the day was a 1.3 lb 14" rainbow. The cool part was the fact that at anytime the next stocker could be a huge payday.... at any rate I ended up icing 6 rainbows with my biggest being .71 lbs or 12".... all stockers.... caught all fish in 12ft of water. Had between 20 and 30 lookers but takers were few and far and in-between. Missed at least 6 that were just to tight lipped to get hooked up by the likes of me... Overall I had a great 1st hardwater tourney experience..... still can't believe that a 1.3 lb rainbow netted to a 2500 payday for some lucky angler.
