Betterlabs, those are nice fish. But, why not let some of those medium sized one swim away. Don't get me wrong, I love to spear as much as anyone, but five fish over 30" in a little over a week?

Hey, I am just jealous I am not getting any! If your eating them I see nothing wrong with it. I certainly try to limit on ducks during that season.

"YOU GOT TO GET WHILE THE GETINGS GOOD, CAUSE IT'S NOT ALWAYS GOING TO BE THIS GOOD" As long as your on a good size lake and your eating the fish than that's all that matters

Nope I hit the big one and my dad got the smaller one last week......I haven't been doing as good as last year but between the 3 shanty's we have seen about 25 and have only hit 5 due to inexperience and other problems but I'm not worried cause all 3 shanty's are moved and in better spots so it's just a matter of time cause I'm pretty sure that I have them all dialed in.

My first time out spearing a few weeks ago...I'm hooked! I've since bought a portable hub shelter and some other supplies. Planning on making my own spear in the off season.

I remembered to take some piture this weekend not big fish but there is no size limit on the lake and I had to try out my forged spear and my new spear head from my Dad.

Both were head shots and I forgot to get a Pic of my father in-laws pike as it was his first pike speared, maybe next time.
