Anyone know how the fishing is at Belmont want to try a new place this weekend been on Stillwater twice got some nice perch tried round pond also didn’t do to good

Fished it twice this season within the last 3 weeks. Was a tough bite the 1st trip and near impossible bite the 2nd. Lost a monstrous pickerel at the hole, got 1 keeper crappie, & a couple mediocre perch. It would seem to be a good lake, but I'd need more time there. It has smallmouth, largemouth,  walleye, & musky also.

Saturday night around 6:30.  Belmont lake PA.  20" walleye.  14"+ of ice.  Tip-up with 5" shiner in 10' of water.  There in there boys.

Congratulations, that's a good one for sure.  I've been trying for the past few years to get a walleye though the ice but still haven't gotten lucky.

20 years ago Belmont was a walleye hotspot.

Last week it was over 15” when we were there. I can’t imagine it being any less.

Belmont is 16-20 inches will be fine for a couple more weeks
