Im thinking of taking my son here fishing on the weekend.  Where is the best place to park an walk out with a two-man tent in tow?  Is the Yacht Club open for parking? Thanks for any assistance.

park at the state park its the easiest place to get on just make sure you check the ice to be sure your comfortable with it....i saw the reports at gander mountain today and all the local lakes are safe according to their reports, always bring a spud and be safe and check for yourself

The yacht club on delta is not public access. It is members only. I was told they are getting complaints from neighbors  about garbage left and nonmembers using the access.

The bite was SLOW off of the beach. 10 tipups out between the two of us, and jigging, and only a lost cell phone and two dink perch for the day! Beautiful ice, though. If anyone finds a Samsung Stratosphere in 17 FOW off of the state beach, get a hold of me! :)

Fished all day Saturday.  Ice was good abd the ice machine was runing all day. bite was slow. Perch were very finicky had to really work then to get then to bite. Broke the new nils in drilled 40 holes or so.  Water was cloudy  saw a sled break down in the middle an another sled dragged it all the way back to shore so the ice is machine ready.
