I fished the morning, the day of the tournament last year. It was a slow morning only got one slab perch. Then I had to go to work.

checked forcast, looks good for this week so should get back out on ice next weekend....sure tired of internet fishing....ya know.

Trapper who said anything about kids, I'm sure it was an adult they were big rocks bolder sized don't come on here trying to start problems I'm just putting a warning out there for guys fishing so they don't damage their augers!

Augers aren't cheap by any means!! I was trying to warn guys as well !! It's a little rediculous the amount of rocks out on ice. All were saying is be careful!!!

My point exactly! How about these winds! You could lose a shanty in this weather...anyone to out on any local lakes today must have been a rough day out with these gusts

Hopefully it dies down enough to maybe get on the lake to hopefully not hit any of those 400 rocks and ice fish!!

You guys need to realize there are some people who comment just to get a rise out of someone. Thanks for the warning but there is no need to harp over this...I'm sure the party responsible for throwing the rocks was thinking, "I'll show these stupid icefisherman, lets throw rocks out there and turn it into a mine field for their augers."

went out backside,winter access(not the beach) 9-dark. the lake is up a little so the shoreline is just a bit wet. two steps and ur past it. had 5.5" of ice, but as i moved towards new ice ran into 3" and stopped there. got 7-8 northerns from 21-26.5" on tip ups. all c&r . tuff day jiggin. 9-16 fow for tip ups. 8-30 fow jiggin-could nt figure out anything. one guy to the right of the beach. couple guys went by us onto thinner ice, two more out the trailor park.

maybe a couple inches on the ice we lucked out ranger,just need to build some ice so we can venture out to the deeper water

I have been driving to Oneida for walleye...once bit by the walleye bug you don't want to fish for anything else. I'm waiting for the main part of the lake so I can beat feet to my honey holes.
